Amanda Focht was named Day Camp Director for CampCo Day Camps in Spring of 2008. Amanda has 7 years experience in the field; She began her career in Recreation in 2003 at CampCo's Summer Camp in Talega as a camp counselor. She has held various positions at CampCo including: Recreation Staff, Sr. Recreation Leader, Asst. Day Camp Director and now Director where she oversees and plans various programs and events. Along with overeseeing the After-school programs, Amanda will also be working the Preschool Educational Programs (PEP) in Ladera Ranch, & Talega 2011/2012 school-year.

Amanda has received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Communication Studies and an emphasis in Child Psychology. She would like to work towards her Master's Degree in Counseling and obtain her PPS certification to become a school counselor.

She loves working with kids because of their energy and excitement to participate and try new things.

Her hobbies include visiting her good friend Mickey at Disneyland, mountain bike riding, kayaking, off roading, snowboarding and spending time with friends.
